Rely on Proven CLABSI/CRBSI Prevention Technology.1-38

More than 30 peer-reviewed studies and over two decades of clinical experience point to one simple solution: SV Spectrum™ = proven CRBSI prevention technology.1-38

Infections Hurt. Help is Here.

Strive for a complete infection prevention strategy.

As process guidelines have improved in recent years, so has infection control technology. Between maximal sterile barrier precautions and SV Spectrum technology, the path to lowering the risk of central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) and catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs) has never been more clear or more proven.

Validated by two decades of experience, Spectrum catheters are impregnated with minocycline and rifampin (M+R) to help patients by providing proven protection against CRBSIs.18

Making a Material Difference.

The SV BioFlo PICC is the first PICC of its kind with Endexo® Technology, providing a catheter more resistant to the accumulation of blood components (platelets and thrombus).

  • The SV BioFlo PICC is the only PICC manufactured with Endexo Technology, a permanent and non-eluting integral polymer.
  • In-vitro blood loop model test results show that on average, the SV BioFlo PICC with Endexo Technology has 87% less thrombus accumulation on its surface compared to commonly used PICCs based on platelet count.
  • The SV BioFlo PICC is available with PASV Valve Technology, making it the first catheter that combines the reduced thrombus accumulation benefit with our patented valve designed to automatically resist backflow and reduce blood reflux on the inside of the catheter. The SV BioFlo PICC is also available in non-valved configurations.

Right Patient. Right Time. Right Line.

Vascular Access requires timely assessment, planning, insertion and follow-up. Appropriate device selection can impact the length of stay and complications, therefore, early assessment of a patient who requires a vascular access device should be considered upon admission.

The SV BioFlo Midline Catheter is an effective solution to preserving a patient’s peripheral access. It provides a cost-effective alternative to multiple IV site rotations for patients who need short-term venous access. This improves the likelihood that the patient will receive his or her ordered therapy, which may lead to a shorter hospital stay, and improved patient satisfaction.
